About
Hossein “Hoss” Khodabandehloo is a cinematographer and director working across narrative, documentaries, experimental films, and brand projects internationally. His work is grounded in observation and performance, using cinematography as a way of understanding human behaviour within both intimate and public spaces.
His approach prioritises restraint, presence, and emotional intelligence, with the camera positioned as an active observer rather than a spectacle. Across commissioned and independent work, he is drawn to bodies under pressure, moments of hesitation, and the subtle dynamics that shape how people move through systems, culture, and everyday life.
